SVECTOR / Publication information
Research and publication standards.
The evidence, attribution and review principles used for company investigations.
Website policy dated 16 October 2026.
Purpose and scope
The Capital Intelligence Unit examines companies through public documents and a dated evidence record. Findings should state what the record supports, the economic consequence, and the limits of the conclusion. The title or classification of a document does not enlarge the evidence behind it.
Evidence and allegations
Established means a cited primary document states the fact or reported amount. Indicated identifies a primary record resting on a company estimate or description. Unverified means the reviewed record does not establish the proposition. Calculations and scenarios are identified as analytical constructions with explicit inputs. Allegations in a complaint are attributed to the pleading and are not presented as judicial findings.
Sources and dates
A material factual claim should identify a source and its reporting or transaction date. Source IDs should remain stable across the investigation. Current-state claims require current evidence: a historical default, an earlier restriction or an announced future project cannot automatically be described as active at a later cutoff.
Counterevidence and uncertainty
Relevant waivers, amendments, delivered operating evidence, subsequent catch-up and alternative explanations should appear alongside adverse findings. Redactions, inaccessible schedules and missing private records are described as limitations rather than assigned invented values.
Publication status
Each research edition should identify its version, cutoff, financial reporting period and review status. CIU-001 version 2.0 is an internal research edition. The source edition states that company response and external legal review were not completed. This website preserves that status rather than representing those steps as complete.
Human review
Consequential findings require responsible editorial judgment. A statement that research is informational does not replace source verification, review of allegations, conflict disclosure or an assessment of applicable publication and regulatory requirements.
